EU urged to block trade deal with Japan until whale slaughter ends

The environmental group Whale and Dolphin Conservation has launched a campaign to use European Union trade deals to stop Japan killing whales.
The EU and Japan are negotiating a new trade agreement.
WDC said: “Japan hunts and slaughters hundreds of whales each year. It wants to kill 4,000 in the Antarctic over the next 12 years.
“The EU does not support whale hunting. Most of the people in the EU do not support whale hunting.” …
