Pope Francis: All dogs go to heaven

There’s a spot for man’s best friend in heaven, according to Pope Francis, the spiritual leader of 1.2 billion Catholics around the world.
During his weekly address in the Vatican on Wednesday, the leader of the Catholic church cleared up the question while consoling a little boy who lost his pet.
“One day, we will see our animals again in the eternity of Christ. Paradise is open to all of God’s creatures”, the Pope said, according to Italian news sources …

In an ideal world, there would be no need for animal sanctuaries or rehabilitation centers like the animal care centers of ROLDA in Romania. But unfortunately, we are needed now more than ever. Whether it’s the “pet” a pure breed dog given up by a family because he has become aggressive or the orphaned pup found at the edge of the busy road, which we had to take in because his mother was hit by a car, we’re there to help the animals harmed by human carelessness.
And we couldn’t do any of it without you.
