Dear Mayor Byung-Soo Suh, 서병수 부산시장님께,
South Korea is the home to global companies, such as Hyundai, Kia, Samsung, LG, Daewoo, SK and POSCO, which is why it is so shocking that an estimated 2.5 million dogs are tortured and slaughtered every year within South Korea, because of the greed of dog eaters and the dog meat industry; while the majority of those Koreans, who don’t actually participate in this offensive trade, show a profound indifference by doing nothing at all to stop it.

e-people Official Korean Government Response: baffling – blame shifting – unprofessional. (Video)
19. Sep. 2017 — We received a response from a petition submission regarding the Busan Gupo Market Cruelty Case to the Korean Government’s e-people web site; it answered none of our concerns, made little sense and shifted responsibility to other Government offices. The reply was not what we should expect from any official main government-operated site that invites comment from the public, and especially not from the Government of such a wealthy, highly educated country. The least we should expect is a reasonable, coherent and informed response to our legitimate concerns.

L’Oréal’s hidden truth
Tell L’Oréal to join the fight to end cosmetic testing on animals …
L’Oréal claims it “no longer tests ingredients on animals and no longer tolerates any exception to this rule.”
… Then why does L’Oréal sell its products in China, where animal testing is still a common requirement for most types of cosmetics?
… And why isn’t L’Oréal supporting efforts that would ban cosmetics testing on animals?
While L’Oréal stalls, hundreds of thousands of animals worldwide continue to suffer horrible pain and die for the sale of cosmetics.
Sadly, animals used for cosmetics testing have chemicals dripped into their eyes or skin and poured down their throats—leaving them blinded, poisoned and killed. It is time for L’Oréal to get on the right side of history and join The Humane Society of the United States in our efforts to end cosmetics cruelty once and for all.

Grants to Curb Illegal Slaughter in your City!
While we believe all forms of exploitation of animals is unethical, our constitution allows for certain forms of ‘use’ of animals. One such allowance is consumption of animals as food- which results in hundreds of thousands of animals being slaughtered every day across the country. While such killing is allowed under specific rules and conditions, none of the facilities we investigated across the country confirm to these. To curb such mindless killing of animals, FIAPO launched the #StopIllegalSlaughter campaign.
